Trauma Recovery with EMDR

For more than 25 years, I’ve walked alongside individuals who are carrying the weight of trauma, and I’ve witnessed something again and again: healing is always possible.
Trauma doesn’t just live in our memories, it lives in our bodies and our nervous systems. Even when life has moved on, it can keep us stuck in cycles of fear, shame, or overwhelm. That’s why I am so passionate about Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). This approach allows the nervous system to process what was never fully integrated, helping clients find the freedom and presence they’ve been longing for.
Why I Use EMDR in Trauma Recovery
EMDR is different from traditional talk therapy. Instead of simply telling the story of your trauma over and over, we work directly with the brain and body to shift how those memories are stored. Through guided eye movements and bilateral stimulation, EMDR helps the nervous system “unstick” what has been frozen in time.
You will still remember what happened, but the memory no longer carries the same emotional charge. For many of my clients, that shift feels like a huge exhale, the moment they realize they no longer have to relive the past every day.
Walking the Healing Path Together
My philosophy is simple: therapy should be safe, compassionate, and effective. Every client I work with receives a personalized approach, drawing not only from EMDR but also from other modalities like Internal Family Systems, NARM and mindfulness.
Healing is not about erasing the past. It’s about reclaiming your present, and your future.
An Invitation
If trauma has been holding you back, I would be honored to support you in your healing journey. Whether you choose weekly EMDR sessions or an intensive retreat, my goal is to help you reconnect with peace, authenticity, and wholeness.
